MADISON BOTIZAN
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Madison Botizan earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The University of Oklahoma in 2017 and a law degree from Oklahoma City University shortly thereafter. While in law school, she developed a passion for trial advocacy through her award-winning participation in the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Team.
After graduating from law school, Madison worked as an associate at a plaintiff’s law firm, where she represented policy holders in insurance bad faith lawsuits and victims of personal injuries. Today, Madison is a litigation associate at Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson & Lee, where her practice primarily involves construction and utilities litigation, representing companies and municipalities across Oklahoma. Madison’s litigation and trial advocacy skills have made her the go-to defense attorney for municipalities and their contractors facing utilities lawsuits. She also has ample experience with insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, business litigation, personal injury, and premises liability lawsuits.
Madison is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Women in Law Section, serving as the 2025 Chair-Elect and 2026 Chair. She is also a member of the Oklahoma High School Mock Trial Committee and has served as a coach for a local high school’s team for the past four years. Madison is also involved with the Oklahoma County Bar Association and is the proud winner of its 2025 Chili Cook-Off in the Traditional category. In her spare time, in addition to making chili, Madison loves spending time with her husband and dog.
