Founded in 1958, GPNL has built a reputation for excellence through a broad-based legal practice and a diverse, well-established client base. Our Firm’s Origins
At Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson & Lee, we provide legal solutions that solve problems, to create opportunities, and support long-term growth. Our mission is rooted in a commitment to excellence and delivering strategic, high-quality counsel tailored to each client’s unique needs.
For more than half a century, Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson & Lee has proudly served clients across Oklahoma and beyond. Founded in 1958 by the late Don Manners as the Manners Law Firm, the firm initially focused on insurance defense and personal injury litigation. Over time, the practice evolved—growing from a sole proprietorship into a respected litigation firm, and later expanding into business law and commercial transactions.
Key milestones in the firm’s history include its transition in 1993 to include Todd Goolsby as a named partner, and then in 1996 with the addition of David Proctor. Together, T. Goolsby and D. Proctor have served together as business partners for nearly 30 years, continually reaffirming their commitment to their ethical, responsive, client-focused business practice, and training future generations of lawyers.
In 2025, two long-term attorneys at the firm, Amber Nelson and Megan Lee, were added as named Partners, expanding Goolsby|Proctor into Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson & Lee. These newly added named partners have served a combined 20 years at the firm and remain committed to the firm’s mission of providing highly competent, economical, and client-centered service. The firm’s long-standing reputation for professionalism, practical judgment, and stability remains a cornerstone of our identity—and continues to earn the respect of its clients and peers alike.
