AMBER D. NELSON
Amber D. Nelson is a partner at Goolsby, Proctor, Nelson & Lee, specializing in complex commercial and civil litigation, business law, and real estate contract work. She has represented both public agencies and private businesses in real property, asset, and stock transactions. She has a passion for business formation, development, employment matters, commercial business transactions, and litigation arising out of business disputes.
Amber was raised in Oklahoma and earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma in 2011. During her undergraduate studies, she held a position in regional management and training for a major corporate retailer, where she developed expertise in operational strategy and human capital management. After a decade in management, Amber transitioned into Human Resources. Driven to further her education, she enrolled in Oklahoma City University School of Law as a National Merit Scholar. Upon admission to the Oklahoma Bar, Amber joined a leading commercial and auto insurance company. There, she refined her litigation skills and gained significant experience in interpreting complex contracts.
Throughout her legal career, Amber has represented clients in prosecuting and defending multi-million-dollar claims. Amber’s education and professional background provides her with a unique perspective and honed skill set to navigate complex legal problems.
Amber lives in Oklahoma City with her spouse and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading and traveling. Amber volunteers with the United Way of Central Oklahoma and the YMCA.
